Fahda Romie, born Jerome Alva Dunn Downes, is a Jamaican rapper and songwriter from May Pen, Clarendon. He was raised primarily by his grandparents from age four, after his father relocated to the United Kingdom and his mother moved to the Cayman Islands.
His musical style fuses hardcore Jamaican dancehall-trap with American rap and trap influences alongside patterns drawn from UK drill, a hybrid approach that helped distinguish him within the current generation of dancehall artists. His 2020 EP ExtraGalactic Quasar contributed to him being named among Jamaica's top YouTube artists of 2021.
In 2021, he was named one of the "hottest Jamaican rappers" and dancehall acts by the Nigerian Tribune, and was included among breakout Jamaican artists to watch by The Guardian (Nigeria), reflecting his growing international profile in the modern dancehall-trap movement.
