Full biography
Christopher George Palmer, known as Mr. Lexx (and also as Lexxus, Mr. Lex, Jigga Man, Dag Diggy, and The Prince), was born on 11 May 1974 in East Kingston, Jamaica. He first displayed his deejaying skills in 1992 at popular Sunday-night dances in Kingston's Harbour View area, performing on the Super Dee sound system, and recorded his debut single, "Own a Home," for Natural Bridge Records at age sixteen.
In 1997 he had three hit singles in quick succession — "Runaway Train" for the X-Rated label, "Fade Away" for 2-Hard Records, and "Boogie Woogie" for producers Steely & Clevie. He returned to Jamaica in 1998 and rebuilt his profile through stage shows, drawing on training in acting and dance from the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts to bring theatrical flair to his dancehall performances.
He was also a member of the dance troupe Squad One. Mr. Lexx has continued performing in the years since, though detailed documentation of his more recent career is limited.
