Kalado

Eton Gordon, known professionally as Kalado, was born on 11 August 1984 in the Maxfield Park area of Kingston, Jamaica. He moved to Clarendon Parish at age four with his mother and siblings, and at sixteen graduated from Edwin Allen High School with distinction in Art & Craft before returning to Kingston to begin recording.

Kalado has cited Lil Wayne, Bounty Killer, Assassin, Drake, and Shabba Ranks among his influences. He became a member of Alliance, the collective founded by Bounty Killer, and founded his own label, KOG Records.

In 2009 he released "Badmind a Kill Dem" on his own G-Law Records imprint, but it was his single "Sad Streets" that produced a number-one video on HYPE TV. By 2013 he had become a mainstream radio presence in Jamaica, with singles including "Make Me Feel," "Good Good Bring Life," and "Body Nuh Dead."
