Booba Starr

Dane Salmon, known by the stage name Booba Starr, is a Jamaican reggae and dancehall singer and songwriter born in Kingston who spent his early childhood there before his family relocated to the Greater Portmore area of Saint Catherine.

His interest in music developed while attending Kingston College High School. A follower of the Rastafarian faith, Booba Starr has been active as a recording artist since 2010, releasing music through his own Starr Team Records as well as Jafrika Records, and performing across a range spanning dancehall, roots, and culture styles.
